Count me among those who never really understood what Foursquare gets you. I guess it makes sense for those (very) few places that give you decent deals for checking in... but it does seem like an awful lot of work for the results. Of course, maybe I'm just bitter from the time my location awareness coupon didn't work.

Thanks, Chris - excellent letter. It still baffles me that some so-called leaders can tolerate discrimination in any form or forum. I hope your letter, as well as the input of others, will help to convince Senator Saland to stand up for equal rights for all.

Hey Mols, I was fortunate enough to not be quite that clogged up, but I can see that as a drawback. I wonder if continuing to go through with it would eventually help to thin things out? It's so gross, but I'm just glad it works!

I, too, have been using a neti pot recently. I also had a bout of 'i think i'm about to die' this season. I don't think I tried nearly as many meds as you did - I was only happy to be able to take anything at all, now that our little guy decided he's done nursing. I pumped myself full of advil cold/sinus, sudafed, aleve, you name it! I finally got a neti pot, and am pleased with the results. However, the only caveat is that if you are so congested that you can't even get a tiny bit of air through, it seems like the water/saline won't flow through (at least, it didn't for me - it ended up rushing down my throat instead).

I always have a Pilot G-2 05 connected to my lanyard. It's a good pen, plus it hooks perfectly on the lanyard.

Btw, I LOVE the retractable Sharpie's as well.

I swear by my Pilot Precise V7 fine black pens. I started using them in college and have purchased them for use at work for the past 10 years. I don't write much these days, but what I do is written with them :D

I also don't go into office supply stores without a buddy for the same reason!
